Parent Survey for Community Outreach (PSCO) / FRS Core Refresher: March 28-29, 2019

Families Forward Virginia presents Parent Survey for Community Outreach (PSCO) / FRS Core Refresher. This two day training will provide a refresher for Family Resource Specialists. Topics covered include: Parent Survey documentation and scoring; offering referrals and describing home visiting; infant mental health and trauma informed practice in the FRS role; and dealing with challenging situations. This training is intended for FRS staff who have not had Core training in 3+ years. Training will take place on March 28-29, 2019 from 9:00am - 5:00pm at the Families Forward Virginia office located at 8100 Three Chopt. Rd, Suite 212, Richmond, VA 23229. The trainer facilitating the course is Laura Shoaf. Cost is $200 per participant. Snacks and drinks are complimentary while lunch is not provided. All hotel costs, travel arrangements, and meals are the responsibility of the local site. The registration and cancellation deadline is March 14, 2019. Invoices are available upon request. Unless there is an emergency, full refunds will only be issued with a cancellation of 14 days in advance of the training date.
