Connect + Discuss: June Session

JUN 04, 2025
3:00 pm EDT

Connect with your peers from across the country. JOIN US each month for Connect + Discuss sessions. Sessions are available at no cost, but pre-registration will be required and capacity will be limited to the first 100 registrants. Each Connect + Discuss will be topic-focused.

June’s session will be focused on “Correcting Misperceptions: Talking About Home Visiting with Families and Partners”
Wednesday, June 04, 2025
3:00–3:50 PM ET

What do people think home visiting is—and how do we shift that narrative or ensure it is correct? This session focuses on messaging home visiting clearly and effectively. Together, we’ll explore how to communicate its unique attributes to families, community partners, and referral sources.

This 50-minute session is a chance to:
  • Reflect on how home visiting is currently perceived
  • Share effective language and real-life messaging challenges
  • Collaborate on strategies for increasing understanding and engagement
*Please note, these are not training sessions. They are a chance to connect and share with your peers. We’ll bring a few guiding questions to spark discussion and let the conversation unfold naturally. While the target audience is home visitors and supervisors, anyone supporting families is welcome to join.
