PAT Foundational 2: 3-Kindergarten Training Hampton Dec 2019

Course description : A two-day training designed for parent educators who intend to use the Parents as Teachers approach to extend their support to families with children three years through kindergarten. As participants become familiar with the curriculum they will learn more about: Approaches to learning and how they relate to parenting behaviors Neuroscience information pertaining to children in this age range Aspects of motor, social-emotional, cognitive and language development Family engagement, readiness, and transition into school Evolution of parenting, family well-being, and the supportive role of the parent educator First year access to the online Foundational 2 Curriculum: Three Years Through Kindergarten is included in the training fee.
