DESCRIPTION:Mothers and Babies is an evidence-based program that has been h
 ighlighted as one of the most effective interventions for the prevention o
 f postpartum depression and has a proven record of success. It is guided b
 y cognitive behavioral therapy and attachment theory\, and is designed to 
 be provided by home visitors as an enhancement to the home visiting servic
 es already provided in the home. Additionally\, there is an option to prov
 ide this enhancement as a group intervention rather than 1 on 1 in the hom
 e. Mothers &amp\; Babies is a great resource for parents experiencing mild
  to moderate depression. Mothers &amp\; Babies equips staff with a curricu
 lum and tools to support mothers experiencing depression AND it counts as 
 a completed referral for MIECHV programs. Attendees of this event will be 
 trained in the implementation of the Mothers &amp\; Babies intervention. A
 dditionally\, all programs who attend will have the opportunity to receive
  voluntary on-going implementation TA support for 6+ months.&nbsp\;
