Families Forward Virginia presents Reflective Supervision. In this training, participants will learn how to shift the focus on supervision from the endless details of home visits to a discussion of strategies, ideas, feelings and results. Participants will begin with a discussion of reflective practice, discuss how to incorporate reflective practice into supervision, and end with ideas for shifting your own supervision to a more reflective model. This training is appropriate for all staff who supervise employees who work with children and families and not direct service staff.
Training will take place on May 16-17, 2019 from 9:00am - 4:00pm at the Families Forward Virginia office located at 8100 Three Chopt. Rd, Suite 212, Richmond, VA 23229. The trainer facilitating the course is Juliana Weaver. Cost is $150 per participant. Snacks and drinks are complimentary while lunch is not provided. All hotel costs, travel arrangements, and meals are the responsibility of the local site. The registration and cancellation deadline is May 2, 2019. Invoices are available upon request. Unless there is an emergency, full refunds will only be issued with a cancellation of 14 days in advance of the training date. Please see supplemental materials for more detailed instructions about registration and nearby hotel information. Questions regarding registration?
